Traumatizer to Blackpool

September 7th, 2006

It suddenly all makes perfect sense. People were saddened and slightly bemused when Blackpool Pleasure Beach made the decision to close one of their most popular rides. Perhaps it was to make way for the £5 million Traumatizer ride at the now defunct Southport Pleasureland?

We have been thinking exactly the same thing. Why all of a sudden announce that the Log Fume is closing in a few days while still in the busy Illuminations period. It now makes perfect sense, looking at the Tramatizer and the Log fume site its a good fit. That coupled with the fact that Blackpool dont have any Suspended Looping Coasters, it would give them good publicity. The Tramatizer is the UK’s tallest, fastest, suspended looping ride!!!!

Nice to see a site kept up to date so quickly.
    Keep up the good work.

there have been no confirmations of the traumatizer going to blackpool but it all looks very promising. the place where the log flume once stood a big hole is now being dug out and is all under cover for a big ride opening in 2007 so everything is looking promising

…Except they are going to call it ‘Infusion’ instead, so then (hopefully) nobody will notice they are being cheap…
