Last Chance to Ride the Log Flume

One of the most famous rides at Blackpool Pleasure Beach closes this weekend. The Log Flume, built in 1967 to simulate the journey of logs down man-made flumes on their way to sawmills in Canada, closes on Sunday. The ride, the longest of its type in the world, is being demolished for a new thrill ride opening next summer.
