Travelodge Manchester Ancoats

Visitors looking for cheap and basic hotel accommodation in Manchester city centre should find this Travelodge fulfils their needs. Situated in the trendy Northern Quarter, it offers quick access to many of the city’s trendiest bars, restaurants, and clubs (Frog and Bucket Comedy Club, Matt & Phreds, Sweet Mandarin etc.).

Rooms are basic and include a king-size bed, TV, hospitality tray, and WiFi (fee payable). As with most hotels in Manchester city centre the Travelodge doesn’t have its own car park, although there are plenty of paid options nearby.

The Printworks, Arndale Centre, Affleck’s Place and Shudehill Metrolink station are all within easy walking distance.

Excellent choice for a weekend break. Fair enough it's Travelodge, but at least you've an idea of what you'll get for your money. In this case you get a great location at a bargain price. You've even got Wi-Fi at a small additional charge. Didn't affect me, but you'll have to park a few minutes away as the location is relatively central.

Booked in advance and got a great deal. Fantastic night out and good night's sleep. No complaints.

Bit worried about staying here after reading some negative reviews, but maybe I just got lucky. Ok, check in at 3pm was not ideal, but at least they processed everyone quickly and efficiently. The room was better than I expected for the price and contained everything I required. No need to get a taxi either if you don't want as it's only 10 minutes or so from the action.
