Chester Hotels

Blessed with a wealth of historic attractions, Chester has a wealth of hotel and accommodation options, ranging from small guest houses to 5-star hotels such as the Chester Grosvenor. Planning restrictions and a relatively small centre, means that the choice of hotels within the city walls is somewhat limited. There are a number of hotels just outside the centre, notably the award-winning Green Bough Hotel. Many of these are found on Hoole Road. The surrounding Cheshire countryside offers a number of historic houses that have been converted into tourist accommodation. Visitors shouldn’t rule out staying in North Wales. The Welsh border is only a few miles from Chester and no passport is required!
