From the outside this place looks brilliant. The gardens are lovely and the building itself is gorgeous. Inside isn't bad, but it could do with a lick of paint in places. The leisure facilities were good though and in our particular deal dinner was included in the price. All in all, definitely worth a look.

This is a beautiful place to stay and only a couple of miles from Chester. True, the room looked a little tired in places, but it had a wonderful four poster and everything we required. The leisure facilities were excellent and the gardens were lovely. It's not even that expensive if you time your booking right.

We found this a very comfortable, convenient and relaxing place to stay. Only downside to our room was a faint whiff of smoke from a previous guest, although rules about smoking might now have changed. Speed of service was all right, and the staff were quite friendly approachable.

Lovely building, pleasant grounds, and great leisure facilities. The room was spacious and well appointed and the staff were courteous and helpful. Found the breakfast to be a little limited though for the price.
